Earth, Wind, and Flour is proud to support important social welfare programs such as Delancey Street, an organization which helps substance abusers, ex-convicts, the homeless, and others in need of a helping hand clean up, find work, and turn their lives around.
Another excellent program that Earth, Wind, and Flour has chosen to get involved with is PAL. PAL, or the National Police Athletics/Activities Leagues, uses the motto “It’s Better to Build Youth than Mend Adults.” The goal of PAL is to help keep children and teenagers away from crime by providing them with the opportunity to participate in extra-curricular activities such as sports, education, and volunteer work.
Another fun way that we at Earth, Wind, and Flour like to get involved with our community is by inviting classrooms of kindergarten and first graders from local schools to take a tour of the restaurant, learn about restaurants, and even make and eat their very own pizza at the end of the day. The kids always enjoy the field trip and often remember the experience for years to come.
Some of the groups which we support include:
- Delancey Street
- PAL (National Police Athletic/Activities Leagues)– Santa Monica
- Bookends
- McKinley Elementary – McKinley Night Fundraiser
- Franklin Elementary School
- Santa Monica High School – Project Safe Zone
